I was going to write this for Good News Wednesday, but What I did that day was NOT good Newsy! LOL I had taken pictures of a big family get together at one of Spokane's lovely parks. In trying to write my article and publish pictures, I amazingly succeeded in LOSING an entire folder with 150 pictures in it!
How did you do that? (you may be asking) I would answer I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA! But somehow or another,in retrieving the park photos, I managed to send all my photos somewhere into the Nether World!
THEN, when I went to re-load the whole camera's pictures, there wasn't a folder to put them in! Never mind! I was utterly broken hearted.
So I called my daughter to see if she could help me, but I had to wait until today for her to get over here to do it. I don't know if she found my file or just set up a new one, but once again, I have pictures!!! YAY!! Plus an even easier way to access them!
That is the reason This didn't make it to Good News Wednesday.............I am a computer Illiterate! AAARRRGGGHHH! Now, finally, THE intended article:
One of my sons lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, so we don't get the fun and pleasure of seeing him very often. In fact, I think the last time I got to see him was Christmas before last (2010).
This time, He and his wife flew in for a short visit before taking off again for one of his Wife's Relatives' Wedding! So her parents and family and me and my family set up a hurried Picnic in the park for about 40 people, on 3 days notice. Potluck, no less! But it turned out great and we all had a long, lovely day at a Beautiful Park, with NO doubles on the potluck! How cool is that? LOL
I even got a pic of all my kids together for the first time since Joe's wedding! Joseph (my son) and Katelin (his wife, the Professor of Astro-physics!) Also a couple cute ones of the Grandkids, but not all of them, darn it! Too much action happening, with the water feature and all, couldn't get them together all at once! I'm happy with the ones I'm posting though, it shows a happy family on a happy day!
