Check this out! I'm getting really big NOW! That is a full sized cereal box beside me!
(Although I AM sitting on the bread! hmph!)

I'm really working on the *Pitiful Me* Pose!

Ho Hum, Life can be so boring when you're BIG!

Enjoying some sunshine
He is slowly but surely learning he's just too big to fit into the cupboard spaces, drawers, microwave and Fridge! But that doesn't mean he doesn't still try!
He jumps on top of the fridge very often, and hangs out on the counter top, but he looks so pitiful when he realizes he won't get into some of his most fun spaces anymore.
I'm glad the bathtub is big, that is still one of his favorite places to play.
Now for the GOOD parts! He really DOES have some.........................
He goes in and out on the balcony all the time, and never tries to jump off, like some other kitties. (HAPPY, HAPPY)
When I open the fridge, he stands on his hind legs to see if I'm grabbing his food, instead of trying to climb in!
He will sit up now to get his canned food when he sees me by his dish, and he tries to scoop his food in his paw and bring it to his mouth, like he sees me do. Too hilarious, he gets so frustrated that he can't do it very well......YET!
He still watches me in the bathroom. He will wait until I flush and then wait for me to jiggle the handle. (I have to do that or it will keep running). He's very observant.
He has different sounding meows for his different wants, needs or actions. (Hah! I'M observant too! LOL)
He loves his carrier, so I just leave it out. He now takes more of his toys in there, than he does in my bed! (YAY) He sleeps in it a lot.
He doesn't try to escape *quite* as often when someone opens the door, and when he does, he doesn't run far away. Sometimes he doesn't even go down the stairs! (Really Good)
Around 10 at night, I have been taking him outside and letting him have small outdoor adventures. He's not quite sure of the dark, so he never runs more than 10 or 20 feet away from me. Even then, he keeps looking back to be assured I'm still there. If he starts to go in a direction I don't want him to go, I just thump my cane on the ground and say his name, and he'll come back, and wait to see which direction I want to take him. He knows the complex well enough now that if he does end up out there alone someday, he knows which stairs are ours and even which door. Proud of him for that! Hee.
Now for those different kinds of meows! That is really funny to me.
When he wants attention, it is a very LOUD, complaining sound.
When he chases flies or catches a bug, it's a little set of short, chirpy meows.
When he wants canned food, it's a little loud and very insistent.
When he thinks I should be going to bed ('cause HE wants to), it's a softer one, repeated several times until I come to bed. ( hmmm kitty seduction??)
The best one of all though, is when it's time to go out at night! It sounds exactly like "owt mama, owt" which he will say, sitting by the door until I get my coat and cane and open the door. This really is more like a series of words than meows, it's so funny!
I think he can tell time too. LOL Within 5 to 10 minutes of ten, either way, he is by the door asking me to take him out! He never misses on the time, and gets really upset when I don't take him. (like when it's raining or something), he will take it out either on me, or something else he can tear to pieces!
He's such a cool pet! I don't know what I would do without him!
