Actually, I'm just using this article to complain.
Our winter really wasn't too bad, we've had MUCH worse ones. Some truly frightening ones actually, this one was mild in comparison.
I'm just whining because I want it to be beautiful and sunny, with new things growing, and new baby life forms with which to please our hearts!
It's supposed to RAIN for about the next two weeks though, well maybe I am exaggerating? Hope so.
We did have our share of snow though, a few times where I had to clean three or more inches off my car, to go anywhere. Missed two Doctor appts for bloodwork that left me in a bit of a precarious health condition. (ie Grumpy and depressed)
These pictures are *my* backyard, which is the backyard or frontyard of about 50 other people as well. They have taken out our garden space, our flowers, several of our bushes and even some of the trees.
Guess the owners feel they are paying too much for water?
Ten years ago, long before I moved in, I remember it as a lovely place. I guess I will buy some fake flowers to put out on my balcony so I have something to look at, since the position of my building allows very little full sun, and the 2+ years I have lived here, nothing I've tried to grow has succeeded.
It is times like this, when I am feeling low, that I miss my house so badly! I just daydream about my huge yard, several varieties of flowers, most of which did amazingly well. So beautiful in fact, I came in 2nd one year for yard of the month! I also had a large vegetable garden, with everything from beets to pumpkins and squash.
Oh well, life does go on, and is only as good as we make it. I'd better start working on perking up! Come on Sunshine! ♥
I love being able to put pictures with my articles! On a day like today though, it gets very frustrating. My computer is SOOOO slow! It takes 4-6 minutes to upload EACH picture! Is that how long it takes yours? I really have no idea, except that I get impatient.
Well, I've still got one more article I want to do.................Heishi's baby book! So I'm going to end this one now.
